After the passing of her close friends, shy, elderly Dottie’s quiet life leaves her wanting for connection. When she spots her teenage neighbor out the window, Dottie is pulled into memories of sleepovers,

laughter, and the spilling of secrets from her teenage years in the 1950s. Could this be an opportunity for an unlikely friendship, or will it lead to even more disappointment and loss?

Skye is a senior at SCAD, majoring in Film + TV and minoring in Costume Design. After graduation, she plans on working in the television industry in Atlanta, GA. Having worked on a variety of projects as a director, costume designer, director of photography, and more, Skye is passionate about working creatively as a team. She is excited to bring her newest project, "A Stitch in Time", to life, as it is a very personal story for her.

Sage Dirtadian - Producer: Sage is a Senior Film/TV major at SCAD! Her goal is to become a producer and editor in the film and television industry. During her time at SCAD, she has worked on many student productions as a producer, most recently including “A Stitch in Time”. She hopes to connect with the audience in every film she works on, helping tell real stories people can relate to.

Jake Seymour - Director of Photography: Jake is a Junior Film & TV major minoring in editing. He has a strong passion for cinematography, and it is his goal to be a professional Director of Photography and Editor. He has worked on many different films as a DP during his time at SCAD and is excited to be able to give such a personal and emotionally powerful story as “A Stitch in Time” a face.

A majority of donations will go towards feeding our hard-working cast and crew. The next largest segments are location costs, production design, and costuming, all of which will help bring the period-accurate vision of the time to life.
