My name is Fancy, and although asking for help is difficult for me, I am reaching out with humility and hope because I truly need support.

I am a full-time mother, a full-time employee, and a full-time college student with one year left before graduation. Every day, I work hard to build a better future for my family and to create a life rooted in stability, perseverance, and hope. I have always tried to handle life’s challenges with strength, but now I am facing a medical situation that I cannot overcome on my own.

My doctor recently told me that I need a medically necessary surgery. In order for the hospital to schedule the procedure, I must first pay my $5,000 insurance deductible.

This surgery is not optional. It is necessary for my health, my well-being, and my quality of life. My condition is impacting my daily life, and I am ready to move forward toward healing so I can continue being present for my children, succeed at work, and finish school strong.

As someone already balancing the demands of motherhood, work, and college, this unexpected expense has created a financial barrier I simply cannot meet alone in the time needed.

So today, I am asking for help and believing in the power of community.
