I’m reaching out to our wonderful community to ask for help in funding a life-changing piece of equipment for my amazing 2-year-old son Hudson.

He was diagnosed with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, a condition that affects all four of his limbs and impacts his ability to move and control his muscles.

Right now, Hudson is working so hard with his physical therapy team to gain strength and muscle control. One of the most exciting ways we can help him is by getting him a disability-friendly trike. This isn’t just any trike—it’s specifically designed to accommodate his needs and help him build strength and coordination. The power of this trike lies in its ability to give him an independent experience of movement while also engaging his muscles in a way that helps him develop the strength he needs to hopefully one day walk.

While our sweet boy has faced numerous challenges, he has also shown us the incredible power of perseverance. Every little step forward, no matter how small, is a triumph. Having a trike will allow him to enjoy some of the simple pleasures of childhood alongside his sister, while also giving him the therapeutic benefit of muscle development that is so critical at his age.

Not only will this help his physical development, but it will also give him a chance to feel the joy of mobility and freedom, something every child deserves.
