Ace was born prematurely. At 11 days old, he suffered a stroke, leaving him a quadriplegic and nearly blind. He suffers from Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. In 2022, he developed a blood clot. This damaged one of his kidneys, so now he only has one functioning. Ace is tube fed and oxygen dependent. He struggles to clear his secretions, and requires around the clock suctioning with nursing care. He also requires intermittent cathing to empty his bladder. My patient struggles with chronic pain. He is nonverbal, but able to communicate his discomfort by crying out. He needs repositioned frequently. And sometimes it takes Tylenol or Clonazepam to calm him.

Ace is 7 years old with the sweetest little smile. He loves to listen to books, music, watch shows, and he smirks as his siblings quarrel. He is a happy boy! We are targeting his needs for a ramp, lift, accessible van, and anything else not covered fully by insurance. Please consider donating to my patient today.
