A Special Request for Aunt Sarah — Let’s Bless Her Together

Dear Beloved Family,

It’s me, Cyndi. What a blessing it was to reconnect with so many of you on our recent family reunion cruise! I left that time together feeling renewed, grateful, and in awe of how the Holy Spirit continues to move powerfully through our family. Truly, we are a living testimony of God’s faithfulness from generation to generation.

While on the cruise, it was clear to us all that Aunt Sarah had entered another stage of her life - one we will all experience. Through Divine intervention, God put her on my heart to bring her here to Hawaii with me, as a paradise "Pitt-stop." When I called Kimmy, unbeknownst to me, a series of concerns confirmed that another level of care was needed - very soon! The Spirit stirred in us a clear direction: Aunt Sarah needs to come home with me to Hawaii.

By God’s grace, I am opening my home and heart to care for her daily needs. Kimberly, who has done an incredible job up to this point, and I are working together to make this transition as peaceful and loving as possible. We know this is God’s plan, and I feel honored to be a part of it.

However, there is one thing weighing heavily on Aunt Sarah's heart—her beloved dog, her faithful companion, cannot come with her. My building charges an additional $300 per month for dogs, which simply isn’t feasible. Aunt Sarah was devastated, but in her sweet, humorous way, she said, “If I can’t bring my dog, I at least need a cat—not just any cat, a longhair cat Cyndi"

Well, you know Aunt Sarah.  And while I chuckled at first, I realized how much comfort and joy this little companion would bring her in this transition. I want so much to honor her in this. There are many different cats that fit this description but it is a Ragdoll cat that's settled in my heart for her, this cat is known as an gentle, affectionate breed, That sheds hair the least.

 

But between purchasing a Ragdoll cat, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, fencing for my 23nd-floor lanai (patio), and other cat necessities, the total cost comes to around $1,000. Family, I’m reaching out to you with humility and faith, asking if you would prayerfully consider gifting into this special mission. Whether it’s $25, $50, or whatever the Lord puts on your heart—every seed makes a difference. Together, I believe we can reach this goal quickly and bless Aunt Sarah in a way she’ll never forget.

Please know—this isn’t the beginning of a pattern. This will be my only GoFundMe for Aunt Sarah. Once she arrives this Monday (5/26), I will carry the rest of the journey with the strength and grace the Lord provides, with Kimberly's blessing.
