Hello to our existing supporters and anyone new. Columbines Wildlife Care is a non profit wildlife rehabilitation facility based in rural Kent.

It has always been our mission to grow in terms of the quality of the facility we can offer wildlife casualties as apposed to the numbers of wildlife we can treat. However with improved facilities comes improved efficiency which in turn means we can provide more quality care to wildlife when it needs us.

You have helped us before and we are appealing for your help again. This time with the little ones in mind ❤️. We want to build a brand new song bird flight and release area. This means putting in a large concrete pad and erecting a weld mesh aviary. This space and some areas of the frame will be modified to suit songbird requirements and also feature a double safety door. The overall cost will be around £2’500. However we are realistic about what we can likely raise in time before the season gets underway so we are appealing for £1’600 to get us going ( main framework ordered ).

We appreciate its a lot of money ( luckily it’s going against a wall which means we only need three sides keeping the cost down! We do not invest in sub standard aviaries and won’t compromise on quality.
