Help Honor My Mom, Karon Lynn Fay's, Memory
On December 18, 2025, my mom passed away after more than two years on hospice care for COPD. She was a beloved mother, friend, daughter, sister, and so much more. She leaves behind her two children, Ty Robert and me, Sarah, as well as her loyal dog Lily. My mom touched the lives of so many people with her kindness and strength, and her absence is deeply felt by everyone who knew her.
During this difficult time, I am hoping to honor my mom with a beautiful service that reflects the love and care she gave to others. Unfortunately, my mom's mother and sister have chosen not to have a service for her, so I want to make sure my mom receives the special goodbye she truly deserves. In addition to the service, I am also facing the challenge of saving the last of my mom's belongings, which are currently in a storage unit. My mom had been helping me pay for the storage after we were forced to leave our home, and now that responsibility has fallen to me. The storage unit is at risk of being lost, and with it, all that remains of my mom's life and memories. Most heartbreakingly, the storage also holds all that I have left of my brother's belongings and his ashes. Losing these precious items would be devastating and heartbreaking for me.
I invite my mom's friends, family, and the community to come together at this time and help give her the celebration and farewell she deserves. Any support—whether through donations, sharing this fundraiser, or sending kind words—means the world to me and my family. Thank you for helping us honor my mom's memory and keep her legacy alive.
