"A Spasso nella Storia - Linea Gotica" il cortometraggio

(ITA) - IL PROGETTO:

Ciao! Mi chiamo Luciano La Valle ho 21 anni. Sono un giovane regista e appassionato di storia, in particolare il periodo della seconda guerra mondiale.

Dopo diversi prodotti cinematografici, tra i più recenti:

,mi sto cimentando in quest'ultimo progetto dal titolo "A SPASSO NELLA STORIA - Linea Gotica". Un cortometraggio che sarà doppiato sia in italiano che in inglese.

Sono trascorsi quasi 80 anni dalla fine della guerra e tutt'ora si può vedere ciò che rimane di quel periodo: trincee, postazioni e bunker...

Negli ultimi mesi di guerra del 1945 sull'alto Appennino Tosco-Emiliano si svolsero sanguinosi ed importanti combattimenti che portarono, in seguito, all'avanzata verso nord degli Alleati e alla fine delle ostilità in Italia.

"A spasso nella Storia - Linea Gotica" è un cortometraggio, NO-PROFIT, che unisce le vicende del passato con quelle del presente. Il filo conduttore del cortometraggio è un bambino spinto da un grande interesse per questi eventi storici.

Quanto è importante far conoscere e divulgare queste storie? Tantissimo, soprattutto ai giovani e alle future generazioni.

È proprio attraverso gli occhi del protagonista che rivivremo i fatti avvenuti nelle montagne dell'Appennino tra le province di Pistoia, Modena e Bologna.

L'altra protagonista del cortometraggio sarà la Jeep Willys, mezzo iconico della seconda guerra mondiale. Sarà proprio attraverso la jeep che il bambino, come passeggero, visiterà i luoghi della Linea Gotica. Le storie del passato si intrecceranno durante il viaggio. Uno spaccato tra Storia e Territorio.

Gli occhi di un bambino...occhi ingenui che non conoscono la crudeltà umana e non avvezzi alle tragedie che si sono succedute nel corso della Storia.

Quel bambino e quegli stessi occhi che ben presto, fin dalla più tenera età, dovranno abituarsi alla realtà...una realtà di luce ed ombre, dove le ombre, però, molto spesso si sono trasformate in vero e proprio massacro.

Atrocità verso le quali dovrà essere sensibilizzato fin da subito, in modo tale che siano per lui un monito ed un invito a ricordare il passato e a non commettere gli stessi errori.

Percorso doloroso questo ma necessario, il quale lo allontanerà per sempre da quel variopinto mondo di fantasia che credeva essere l'unico esistente fino al momento in cui ha conosciuto la Storia, la vera Storia.

L'imminente 80⁰ Anniversario dell'Operazione Encore non ha altro che richiamare alla mente questo frammento buio di Storia, illuminato dal sacrificio dei soldati della 10a Divisione da Montagna, delle truppe brasiliane della F.E.B. e di tutti coloro che combatterono, lontano da casa e dagli affetti più cari, per un mondo migliore.

Lo scopo del cortometraggio, inoltre, è proprio quello di far comprendere il terribile aspetto della guerra e di come quest'ultima sia uno spreco di vite e di potenziale umano.

Hello! My name is Luciano La Valle, I'm 21 years old. I am a young director and history buff, especially the period of World War II.

After several film products, among the most recent:

I’m working on this new project entitled "A WALK THROUGH HISTORY - Gothic Line". A short film that will be dubbed in both Italian and English.

Almost 80 years have passed since the end of the war and we can still see what remains of that period: trenches, foxholes and bunkers...

In the last months of war of 1945 on the upper Tuscan-Emilian Apennines took place bloody and important fighting that led, then, to the advance of the Allies to the north and the end of hostilities in Italy.

"A WALK THROUGH HISTORY - Gothic Line" is a short film, NO-PROFIT, that combines the events of the past with those of the present. The main character of the short film is a child who has a great interest in these historical events.

How important is it to make these stories known and spread? So important, especially to the young and future generations.

It is through the eyes of the protagonist that we'll relive the events that took place in the mountains of the Apennines between the provinces of Pistoia, Modena and Bologna.

The other protagonist of the short film will be the Jeep Willys, an iconic vehicle from World War II. It will be through the jeep that the child, as a passenger, will visit the places of the Gothic Line. The stories of the past will intertwine during the trip. A split between History and Territory.

The eyes of a child...naive eyes who don't know human cruelty and aren't aware of the tragedies that have occurred throughout history.

That child and those same eyes who soon, from the earliest age, will have to get used to reality...a reality of light and shadows, But the shadows have often turned into a massacre.

Atrocities that must be made aware of immediately, so that they are a warning and an invitation to remember the past and not to make the same mistakes.

Painful path this but necessary, which will remove him forever from that colorful world of fantasy that he believed to be the only existing until the moment when he knew the History, The true History with capitol H.

The upcoming 80th Anniversary of Operation Encore has nothing but recall this dark fragment of history, illuminated by the sacrifice of the soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division, Brazilian troops of the B.E.F. and all those who fought, far from home and loved ones, for a better world.

The purpose of the short film, moreover, is precisely to make understand the terrible aspect of war and how this last is a waste of lives and human potential.
