Hi, my name is Tremain Davis. This wonderful woman you see in this picture is Eloise Davis, my mother. All of her life, she has worked and sacrificed to make sure her family, as well as others, were taken care of. Her house was the go-to house where people got fed, had a good time, and if necessary, could lay their head.
In 2017, my mother suffered a major stroke, and later my dad suffered from dementia. I have done the best I can to take care of them. In 2024, my dad went to glory. At that time, my parents had been married fifty years. She misses him dearly.
My mother has been through a lot: loss of independence, stroke, and now, because of the stroke, her ability to walk. Recently, social security temporarily stopped her check. Also, I had to stop working to take care of my mother while I wait through this long process for the state to pay me as her caregiver. I have done everything I know and need to do to get her social security restarted, but it's a process. We are praying that this matter will be resolved soon and that her social security will be restarted.
Right now, bills are behind and we are looking to be evicted. If the money is not paid by the 15th of June, we will receive an eviction notice along with legal costs, money we do not have. Please give whatever you can give! Don't let my mother, who has worked so hard and helped so many others, end up on the street!
