A Son, A brother, A blessing: Remembering Leonardo Martinez

Hello my name is Sandy and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my family, to honor the memory of our beloved Leonardo Martinez.

On August 8th, Leo celebrated his 19th birthday - a milestone we were so grateful to share with him. Just days later, our hearts were shattered when we lost him unexpectedly. He was the only son in a family of 8 growing up, surrounded by his loving mother and sisters. He held a special bond with each of them. Always staying close to home, always putting family first.

Leo was full of love and life, he was the type of young man who would brighten the room just by walking in, who would pull out of his way to make sure his mom and sisters felt cared for. He was deeply family-oriented, never missing a chance to be present to laugh, to share moments with those he loved the most.

We are raising funds to help with the cost of his funeral and memorial services. This is something no mother should ever have to prepare for and we want to give him the beautiful farewell, he deserves. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward these expenses and will help ease the heavy burden on his grieving family.
