So… I’m this close to making something really exciting happen. But I need your help (please x )
I’ve raised enough to buy the truck
But that’s just the beginning.
To actually turn it into Truck Stop — I need your help.
But what is Truck Stop?
Truck Stop is a podcast on wheels built into the back of a custom-designed truck which visits UK festivals for chats with your favourite, and soon-to-be favourite artists. Supporting grassroots music.
At festivals, I’ll be filming:
Relaxed, high-quality artist conversations,
On a sofa,
Designed for viral clips and full-length episodes.
It’s fun, spontaneous, and built to create content people actually want to watch.
The idea is to create a recognisable format that can travel from festival to festival - and eventually grow internationally.
Why I’m doing this
I’m a presenter and broadcast journalist, and I’ve spent the last 3 years working in the UK festival scene - interviewing artists like Rita Ora, Ocean Alley, Låpsley, Rachel Chinouriri, Jungle Giants at Wilderness, Wireless, Boardmasters, Bearded Theory and more!!
And I realised something:
......Great interviews disappear online if they don’t have a clear identity.
So I'm creating one.
Truck Stop = a sofa, a truck, and a vibe you instantly recognise.
The vision
Start as a festival podcast
Grow into a live stage
Build into a touring media brand
The goal is to make Truck Stop a must-follow hub for festival culture and artist interviews.
What the money goes toward
I’ve (almost) got the truck — now I need to turn it into something real:
- Sofa + set build
- Custom paint / branding
- “Truck Stop” signage
- Filming + audio equipment
- Petrol, insurance, MOT, and festival costs
This is what takes it from just a truck → to an actual working creative platform.
Why it matters to me
This project is more than just content.
It helps me:
Build my own presenting brand
Create a portfolio of high-level interviews
Grow an audience
Open doors into TV, radio, and beyond
The ask
If you believe in creative ideas, independent media, or just want to help me make something a bit iconic…
Any donation - big or small - genuinely helps bring this to life. I'm trying to raise £5,000 (or more if you're feeling generous) to help bring this to life.
Schedule is pretty tight I have exactly 5 weeks until the first festival, so, if you can’t donate, sharing this means just as much.
Let’s park something iconic at UK festivals.
