I'm Sheri Spruill, mother of Dalonte Parker, a young man stricken with Stage 4 Cancer at the age of twenty-nine (29). My son has always been the light of my life, a jokester, hard worker, a dedicated uncle to his only niece and nephews, and a committed brother. He loves his family and there is nothing he wouldn't do for them the same goes for us for him. He didn't socialize much, however, those that knew him can remember all of the extremely hard belly laughs Dalonte would have with them.
One (1) short year ago I was moved from my Park Morton home because of the gentrification of my community and I thank the family and friends that help though this trying time. I have literally been taking care of him since he got sick. I am in trying times asking for the public at large. My son past away Sunday evening. I was with my son when he took his last breath. My mind cannot fathom having to bury my son. It is the most heartbreaking think feeling a mother can feeling a mother can feel. My heart sank to a depth that I cannot feel. I implore the people to help me lay my so to rest so that I may ease the burden. It's hard enough trying to figure out how to day-to-day let alone now having to figure out how to pay for a funeral.
I want to say thank you in advance for any donations given are appreciated and are a
