Our dear friend, "FabulousMe" Slava, host of so many Chilliwomb shenanigans, always there for a friend in need, and a person with a heart of gold, needs our help today!
She is going through the pain of undergoing multiple surgeries to recover a loss in her jaw bone so so serious that was compromising her facial nerves. She was losing sensation in her face, and eyes, and was in pain, and that is when a doctor friend saw her, and intervened immediately: He made an urgent appointment, and since then, a few months ago, he has been treating her, and she has already bravely undergone several surgeries.
This process is going to continue for several months to come.
We cannot ease her physical pain, but we certainly can lend a hand with the other horrific side of this journey,: A cost of $20,000 (twenty thousand dollars -with a friends price!) that she will have to pay until she is healthy again. These are not cosmetic operations, but necessary surgeries to restore her health, and cure infections, and massive bone loss.
Her story is not uncommon since she is an immigrant from the Soviet Union, did not have good dental care in her Home Country, and lack of resources, have lead her to this dire situation today.
