Please help The Carver Kitchen re-open!

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Grace and I’m fundraising on behalf of my Aunt Chato & Uncle John’s business, The Carver Kitchen / Salu-Salo. Together, they run a family owned and operated catering and food truck business. My Aunt Chato has worked tirelessly building this business from the ground up after moving here from Manila in the early 2000s. They have served a plethora of delicious foods ranging from Filipino cuisine all the way to Shawarma…

Recently, on their way home from work, the cab of their food truck began to fill with a thick, black smoke and the engine began to rattle loudly. After a $600 tow to the mechanic (only three miles away), they learned their food truck is inoperable until they can get the engine replaced. The estimated cost of the engine replacement is $10,000 that they don’t have to spare. This food truck is their primary source of income. Please consider donating to help them get back on their feet ahead of winter.

My Aunt Chato has always put other’s needs ahead of her own to make sure everyone is well taken care of within the local community and her family. Please help rally together to reciprocate her love by sharing or donating.

Thank you!
