Recently, on their way home from work, the cab of their food truck began to fill with a thick, black smoke and the engine began to rattle loudly. After a $600 tow to the mechanic (only three miles away), they learned their food truck is inoperable until they can get the engine replaced. The estimated cost of the engine replacement is $10,000 that they don’t have to spare. This food truck is their primary source of income.
