Hi, my name is Kaye. I am a woman in my early 50s and a survivor of cancer, trauma, and generational hardship. I am currently writing a faith-anchored legacy book—one rooted in survival, healing, and restoration—meant for my children, my family, and others who need proof that God redeems what the world tries to break.
After much prayer, an unexpected door appeared: a six-month writing pilgrimage to Scotland. This is not a vacation, but a season of obedience and focused work. Scotland represents quiet land, ancient endurance, and space—space to write without survival pressure or interruption. This project cannot be rushed or done halfway. Six months would allow me to complete the manuscript, refine it deeply, and preserve a testimony meant to outlive me.
My companion, Dion, would travel with me as my daily support system due to health history and the emotional weight of this work. My Standard Poodle, Midnight, who was a God-given gift through Dion two years ago, is also part of my daily grounding and routine.
How Funds Will Be Used (Full Transparency):
- Travel (2 adults + pet): International airfare, pet transport & documentation
- Modest Long-Stay Housing (6 months): Small cottage or room
- Living Expenses (2 people): Food, local transport, and basic needs
- Writing Tools (One-Time): Reliable laptop and backups, software, storage, and printing
- Pet Care Buffer: Food, supplies, and vet contingency
This covers the entire six-month assignment—nothing extravagant and nothing hidden.
What Supporters Are Helping Create:
Those who support this journey are not funding a trip. They are helping create:
- A completed legacy manuscript
- A testimony rooted in faith, endurance, and healing
- A work meant to serve others walking through survival and restoration
Supporters will be acknowledged in the book and will receive personal updates from Scotland as the writing unfolds.
If This Door Is God-Opened: It will open. If it is not, I trust Him still.
With gratitude, Kaye
