Hi friends and all who have received this link, thank you for taking your time to read and share this with anyone, all help is appreciated.
For those who don’t know, my Aunt Glenda was woken up at 4:30am to her family home, and vehicles, engulfed in flames. She and her kids managed to escape in time, although some of their family pets have yet to be found (we are holding out hope that they may have escaped).
This is a devastating loss to the entire family, a generational home built by my late grandfather which stood strong 50 years, torn away in a nightmare they woke into. Inside the home was her livelihood, (her main source of income as she is on disability aid), all her supplies to support her home business that she utilized to bring life into the community and build awareness that keep our indigenous culture alive. All of it, now wiped away in the fire, except for a deep love for their community and hope to return to their lives as soon as support arrives, in part thanks to you.
I am so incredibly grateful they all are safe with only minor physical injury. Now, they are reaching out in hopes to raise funds and awareness to help get through this difficult time. Any support small or large is so appreciated, we hope to help them get back on their feet very soon.
Thank you for your time, for sharing this with others and all your continued support in this trying time.
