A single mother facing homelessness and loss of her career

Please, I’m asking from the deepest place in my heart—help this single mother hold on through the hardest moment of her life.

This is Marlee. She’s 31, raising two young children completely on her own, and she’s just five months away from graduating nursing school. Five months away from changing her entire life. Five months away from finally being able to give her kids the stability, safety, and future she’s been fighting so hard to create.

But life has hit her with a devastating blow. After a recent loss in the family, she’s now facing a financial crisis that no mother should ever have to shoulder alone. With no family support and nowhere left to turn, she is staring down the very real possibility of homelessness. She’s doing everything she can. She’s studying, working, sacrificing, and pushing through exhaustion and heartbreak—but she simply cannot do this alone anymore.

Marlee has maintained a strong GPA, shown incredible dedication to her patients and peers, and has always been the first to help anyone—people, animals, strangers—without ever expecting anything in return. And now, when she is so close to crossing the finish line, everything she’s worked for is slipping away.

If she can’t cover just the next few months of basic living expenses, she’ll be forced to drop out of nursing school… only five months before she graduates. Five months before she can finally give her babies the life they deserve.

No mother should have to choose between feeding her children and finishing the education that could save their future.

I’m asking—truly begging—for anyone who feels moved by her story to help her make it through this final stretch. Your support, in any amount, could be the difference between this family having a home or losing everything. Between Marlee becoming the nurse she has worked so hard to become, or watching her dream disappear when she was almost there.

If you can find it in your heart, please help this family stay safe, stay housed, and stay hopeful. Please help Marlee hold on to her dream and give her children a chance at the stable life she’s fought for every single day.

Anything helps. Truly.

Please donate if you can.
