Help a single mom start a new life

Hello, I met the wonderful woman in this picture while she was pregnant at her OBGYN clinic where I work and quickly became friends, was there for her birth, and have stayed in close contact since. They went home the other night to find a "vacate" notice from the dept of buildings on their apt because it was unsafe to live in. The red cross gave them a hotel room for 4 nights. With the help of some kind and connected citizens, we've found her a place to go, but it pretty much emptied her account. She is a single mom and an African immigrant and could really use some funds to help set up her new living arrangement and to move her things. I love her and her son dearly and would feel so relieved to know they are settled. Thank you for anything you can give!
