On July 17th, my father, James Womack, passed away. While we didn’t have a close relationship, I still feel a responsibility to make sure he’s laid to rest with basic dignity. Unfortunately, I’m not in a financial position to afford the cost of cremation or even a simple service.
There’s no insurance, no savings — just me trying to figure out how to handle this unexpected expense. Cremation services, even at their most basic, still come with costs I simply can’t cover on my own.
I’m asking for help to get through this one last responsibility — not out of sentimentality, but out of a desire to do the right thing.
Any donation, no matter the size, would go directly toward his cremation and essential arrangements. And if you can’t donate, sharing this would still mean a lot.
Thank you for reading and for your support during this time.
