My father, Dr. John Abdo, was recently diagnosed with Cancer.
Dr. Abdo, a Naturopathic Doctor and PhD in Clinical Nutrition, has devoted to his entire life to helping others, not only through his clinic, Day Springs International, but also personally through his work with the Bahai Faith and the MLK Service Committee of San Antonio.
In a quote he made in the Rivard Report, A non Profit Journalism newsletter, Dr. Abdo stated :
"We are one human race. The divine messengers come from the same place. Let us learn to come together and be friends.”
This is the basis of how he lives his life, always giving and never taking from others, considering all of humanity to be equal, no matter what walk of life they are from.
Now he needs our help. He needs treatment for his cancer and he does not wish to undergo the standard radiation and chemotherapy treatments. He wants to use the the same philosophy his clinic is built on, which uses the power of Alternative Therapies to treat the whole person.
A group of Therapists from Canada will be traveling here to assist in his treatment plan. Their alternative methods have shown to greatly improve the odds of recovering from cancer.
The treatment, however, is expensive and this is where we need your help. The situation is urgent, so anything you can help with will be greatly appreciated.
