Last year I was injured at the apartment I lived in and it required 2 surgeries. The first surgery was successful but I tore my stitches going back to work too soon, making recovery a very long and painful process that eventually required a second surgery. I still have an open wound that requires multiple painful bandage changes per day. Because of this, I was not able to work at my dog grooming shop and could not pay my rent. Unfortunately I rent my grooming shop at the same apartment I was injured at, and the atmosphere isn’t safe or healthy for my family as well as my customer family. I need to relocate both my living and dog grooming location. Thankfully, I found a location that fits the necessary needs of my family as well as my grooming shop, but because of accruing medical expenses, I am unable to meet startup and renovation costs.
It was always a dream of mine to work with dogs and eventually have a grooming shop and maybe one day a kennel. My hope is to move my family and dog grooming shop to a happier, healthier, and safer environment where I can heal and groom my fur babies at the same time.
