Hello, my name is Kateryna.
I’m originally from Ukraine and currently living in the UK. I had to leave my home with my son just three days after the war began. It was a terrifying and heartbreaking experience. Leaving behind my family, career, and everything I had built was the most difficult decision of my life — but safety for my child came first.
Back home, I worked as an endodontist, a root canal specialist, for 12 years. Dentistry was more than a job to me — it was my passion. Helping people overcome pain and save their teeth brought me immense joy and purpose.
Now in the UK, I’m rebuilding my life from scratch. I’ve worked hard to learn English, achieving a C1 level, and I’ve obtained a Diploma in Dental Nursing. I currently work as a dental nurse while studying to requalify as a dentist in the UK.
I’ve already passed Part 1 of the Overseas Registration Exam (ORE) with an 80% score. However, Part 2 of the exam is extremely expensive, and I simply cannot afford it on my own.
Here’s a breakdown of the costs:
ORE Part 2 Exam Fee: £4,235 ( General Dental Council )
Preparation Course – Theory Component: £923 (provider PlanORE)
Preparation Course – Practical Component: £1,350 ( Naseema Dental)

Training Equipment (manikin head, dental unit, instruments, materials): approx. £1,776 ( provider Naseema Dental)
Once I get a needed amount of money, I'll book the preparation courses , buy the equipment and start practicing performing all components of the exam with the study partners. As soon as I feel confident, I'll pay the fee and book the exam.
I’m asking for your help to raise the funds I need to take the next step in returning to the profession I love. Every pound you donate will bring me closer to resuming my work as a dentist — a role in which I can truly give back to the community and contribute to the UK’s healthcare system.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my journey. Your kindness means more than words can say.
With gratitude,
Kateryna Kryoka
