This milestone means the world to us. The financial burden has been lifted, allowing Dr Azhar u din burki and his family to focus fully on the healing journey ahead with peace of mind.

Therefore, we have officially closed this fundraising campaign. No further donations are needed. The support you have already provided is more than enough and is a gift we will never forget.

*INITIAL APPEAL*

I write this appeal not as a stranger to suffering, but as a fellow human being who cannot ignore another soul’s cry for help.

This fundraiser is on behalf of Dr. Azhar ud Din, a 37-year-old father, husband, and dedicated physician and Urologist himself from Pakistan who has devoted his life to serving others. Today, he is the one in need.

Dr. Azhar is battling end-stage kidney failure due to a rare condition known as IgA Nephropathy. He has already endured one painful kidney transplant. But heartbreakingly, the disease recurred, and since January 2023, he has been surviving on twice-weekly dialysis—a draining and difficult process that has left him weak, dependent, and exhausted.

Despite his condition, Dr. Azhar has not given up. He still smiles for his children. He still hopes. And most incredibly, he still dreams of returning to his medical career—of healing others as he once did.

But the financial burden of a second kidney transplant is now too great for him and his family to bear alone. Every resource was spent during his first transplant. Today, they stand emotionally shattered and financially depleted.

What He Needs

Dr. Azhar has been advised to undergo a live related kidney transplant at Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad. His brave wife has stepped forward to donate her kidney. The only obstacle now is cost.

The total estimated expense is Rs. 53.47 lakh (PKR)

This fundraiser is not about charity. It’s about compassion. It’s about standing beside a man who spent his life helping patients, and now finds himself in the vulnerable role of patient.
