Hi everyone,

I wanted to share an update on Sadgi, the little kitten I rescued during my recent trip to Antigua. What started as a birthday getaway quickly turned into something completely unexpected, but also very meaningful.

While I was there, I came across a tiny kitten in desperate need of help. He had been attacked by a dog and was left with serious injuries — a broken femur, a broken pelvis, a potentially paralysed tail, and multiple wounds. When I found him, he was crying in a gutter and covered in maggots.

Luckily, 268 Veterinary Services & Supplies was open and near by. I rushed him there and Adela was there to help.

I cared for him for 6 days and completely fell in love. He’s now in a safe home in Antigua while he continues to heal.

I’ve named him Sadgi because I’m a Sagittarius — I found him the day before my birthday, and instead of celebrating, I spent the day caring for him.

I’m now trying to bring him safely to the UK so he can have the happy, loving life he deserves.

The cost of his medical care, flights, rabies vaccine, microchip, vet paperwork, and cargo transport is around £2,000 — more than I can manage on my own right now.

If you’re able to contribute anything at all to help me get him home, I’d be truly grateful

Thank you
