**A Second Chance for a Brave Street Dog**

We're reaching out to you with an urgent plea to help a street dog who has been through so much.

While visiting Siargao Island in the Philippines she was found lying by a beach, clearly with not long left for this life without immediate care.

She was taken to a local vet where she was found to have been recently hit by a car as well battling anemia/low platelets, a bacterial blood infection and numerous parasites, all on top of her injuries.

The accident resulted in a multitude of fractures and luxations:

*Left sacroiliac luxation* Fracture of right ilium

*Right acetabular fracture* Ischiatic arch fracture

*Left acetabular fracture* Fractured pubic symphysis

*Right sacroiliac luxation* Left iliac wing fracture

While many would consider euthanasia as a compassionate option, Minty’s resilience is nothing short of remarkable. Despite the severity of her condition, she has shown incredible strength, even surprising the vet who initially feared there was little hope.

After careful assessment, we’ve been advised that, with the right treatment, given her young age, Minty can recover.

However, she needs two crucial surgeries and 30 days of intensive hospital care to give her the best chance at recovery.

She deserves this chance.

We are committed to giving her the life she deserves.

While the Philippines has many kind-hearted people caring for countless street dogs, resources are stretched thin. That's why we're ultimately planning to bring her back to the UK, where we can find her a loving forever home.
