Hello everyone, my name is Ryan Mangan, and I am reaching out on behalf of my parents during one of the most difficult moments our family has ever faced.
Just recently, our lives were shaken by news no one is ever prepared for. My mother was diagnosed with severe heart disease, and doctors determined she urgently needed open heart surgery — a triple bypass — to survive. She is now facing a long road to recovery, with weeks to months of healing before she will be able to return to work.
My mother is the sole provider for both herself and my father. She has always worked tirelessly to keep their home stable, food on the table, and ensure my father receives the medical care he needs. But with this sudden surgery and recovery period, she is now without income and overwhelmed by the mounting financial burden of rent, utilities, daily expenses, and medical bills.
My father suffered a stroke several years ago, leaving him with significant memory loss. He cannot live independently, cannot work, and relies heavily on my mother for daily care. In addition, he battles kidney failure requiring dialysis multiple times a week, and he suffers from severe anxiety that makes these challenges even harder. They simply cannot manage this alone.
Your generous support will help cover:
• Rent and essential household bills
• Groceries and daily necessities
• Transportation to doctor visits, surgery follow-ups, and dialysis
• Prescription medications and medical expenses
• The peace of mind they desperately need during this health crisis
My parents are two of the most compassionate, humble, and hard-working people you could ever meet. They have never asked for anything — they have always found a way. But right now, they need help to simply stay afloat while they fight to restore their health and independence.
If you are able, any donation — no matter the size — will directly support their immediate needs. Even a share of this campaign means the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, for supporting, and for keeping my parents in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness is truly a blessing.
Update: Surgery is complete and admitted into the ICU.
