A second chance at life

Hi, my name is Manon and I am starting a fundraiser for my dad which I never in my life thought I would have to do.

My dad has always been my inspiration when it comes to exercise. One of my first memories with my dad is watching him run on la promenade des Anglais in Nice during his first ironman... out of three, and probably 30-40 triathlons around the world. He has always been a fan of the extremes and was never afraid. He has been the safety for me, my brothers and his wife, we could always rely on him for being the stereotypical strong man we needed in our lives.

This summer we thought we had lost this safety forever. After a tragic motorcycle accident, he almost lost his life and we have never been more afraid. He survived. A broken neck, eight broken ribs, and a punctured lung resulted in quadriplegia.

7 months later and we are here relearning to live, but my dad still has his passion for training. He will probably never be able to walk again but there are ways for him to live his passion in other ways, that's where you can help. Any amount that you can give will help us fund my dad's passion.
