Given his passion for live music, we would like to dedicate a seat to Dad (John) in the Sage Gateshead so he never misses a concert from his favourite spot.
John was passionate about live music and theatre and went regularly to the Northern Sinfonia Concerts at the Sage.
Covid 19 presents the Sage Gateshead with an urgent financial challenge and they are currently having a crisis Recovery and Renaissance fundraising campaign to ensure the future of live music and the arts at the quayside and surrounding area. This is something John would have supported and we feel it would be a good legacy for his memory.
