Sheila has always been the heart of her family. A loving mum, devoted granny, caring sister, auntie, and a true friend to so many. She’s the kind of person who shows up with a warm smile and an open heart, always putting others first no matter what she’s facing herself.

Several years ago, Sheila’s world changed forever when her beloved daughter passed away from cancer. In the midst of her grief, she stepped without hesitation to raise her grandchildren. She has given them unwavering love, comfort, and security, despite facing immense challenges of her own.

Now, Sheila needs a little help from us.

She lives with fibromyalgia, a painful and debilitating condition that affects her muscles and joints. She’s also undergone a hip replacement and suffers from arthritis in her neck and pelvis, which makes mobility incredibly difficult and everyday tasks exhausting. Even leaving the house has become a major challenge.

A mobility scooter would make a world of difference in Sheila’s life. It would restore a sense of freedom, independence, and dignity, allowing her to continue caring for her grandchildren and maintain some much-needed connection to the outside world.

We, her family and friends, are coming together to raise funds to purchase a reliable mobility scooter and help Sheila regain some quality of life. She has given so much of herself to others over the years. Now it’s our turn to give back.
