Hi, thank you for taking a minute to read our story. My son, Alex will be 10 yrs old on April 4th. Alex was recently diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy this past November. In the last short 3 months his world was turned upside down. He has had to endure countless blood tests, heart tests, breathing tests, and a handful of new medications. This has been very hard on him emotionally as well as

physically. My heart aches every second because as it stands there is no cure for what he has, only medications to slow the progression of his muscles becoming gradually weaker. Alex has never been able to ride a bicycle, although has tried. I am putting this gofundme up in hopes to help me purchase this motorized scooter for Alex's 10th Birthday. He would also be able to use on outings when walking long distances is necessary, and can be painful for his legs. My sweet boy has dealt with so much in his 9yrs already, with the loss of his Father, and his new diagnosis. I am trying to do everything I can to help him.
