Tracy’s Fighting Cancer

Our beautiful Tracy (our courageous mum), a proud Glammy, a loving mother, a caring auntie, a devoted sister, and a treasured friend, is fighting the biggest battle of her life.

On 23 July 2025, Tracy was delivered the heartbreaking news she has cancer - Stage 4 leiomyosarcoma, one of the rarest cancers in the world, which makes treatment extremely difficult. That day our whole world changed forever.

She underwent major surgery on 9 September 2025 to remove the tumour. Unfortunately, the operation was not fully successful, leaving a large residual tumour. This has placed her under palliative care, but Tracy continues to fight with everything she has. She is undergoing weekly chemotherapy and pursuing alternative medical treatments to give herself the best chance of staying with her loved ones for as long as possible.

She is alive today thanks to multiple lifesaving blood donations and she hopes her story encourages others to donate blood because it truly saved her life.

As a family, we cannot face this journey on our own. Donations and support from kind-hearted people are essential to help with access to treatments and therapies that are critical to her fight. Reaching out to you is not easy and in fact it is very difficult but we are at a crossroads and need help so we are hoping the network of friends, family and strangers will help us in our darkest moments.

Tracy has not been able to work full-time since April, and the financial strain is significant. Every day is a battle, physically, emotionally, and financially, yet she continues to face it with courage, grace and determination.
