We are building Puerto Rico’s largest permanent sanctuary — a forever home for dogs and cats who would otherwise be abandoned or euthanized.

Every day, thousands of dogs and cats in Puerto Rico are abandoned — hungry, scared, and unwanted. Many are rounded up and euthanized simply for existing.

We couldn’t look away.

That’s why we created Wild & Free Sanctuary — a safe haven built on compassion, where every life matters. Now, we’re ready to take the next step: purchasing land for the island’s largest permanent sanctuary, where rescued animals can finally live wild, free, and loved.

Puerto Rico’s stray population is estimated at over 650,000 dogs. Even those who’ve been spayed, vaccinated, and lovingly cared for by rescuers are being rounded up and killed simply because they’re unwanted.

We want to change that.

Our dream is to purchase 20+ acres where rescued animals can live safely and freely, surrounded by nature and love.

The sanctuary will include:

• Secure fenced areas for free roaming and play

• Quiet zones for shy or special-needs animals

• On-site vet and recovery spaces for urgent care and sterilization

• Volunteer and visitor areas to educate and connect the community

Phase 1 – $100,000: Purchase the land — the sanctuary’s forever home.

Phase 2 – $75,000: Fencing, shelters, and utilities.

Phase 3 – $75,000: Medical areas, housing, and the first year of food and care.
