Hi! My name is Cody Miller and recently things have gone pretty badly for me and my family due to losing my job on 12/16. There are three of us in the house (we do have four cats!), which includes my wife (who has a lot of health issues), my eleven year old son, and me. Now, I lost my job due to a lot of factors, but nearly all of them out of my control. I had been with the company since July of '24 and it was really nice because of being 100% remote.

But the big thing that's happened outside of this is that we are being forced to move by the end of July. I did have a car repair I needed, which I got ($1900), so that took all of anything extra I had. Though, it is having another issue unrelated to that. We simply do not have the money to move and continue to live. My rent alone is $1300 and that is a huge chunk of my unemployment.

So, anything helps. Honestly, sharing is great, too! I just need to be able to get out of this house (and find a job, which has been another beast entirely) so my family and I can put this chapter behind us.
