Hey, thank you for taking the time to view my GoFundMe. My name is Yari Figuereo and I am a bi Black trans woman raising money to relocate to San Luis Obispo to get out of a toxic living situation.
All funds that are raised will be going towards the transportation of myself and my personal property (e.g., plane tickets, paying movers for my furniture to be moved from South Carolina to California, travel costs), sustaining myself during the move (e.g., food and groceries), along with the security deposit and rent long enough to find work to sustain myself.
Relocating is already tricky enough in a safe environment; please help me escape an environment that doesn't prioritize the safety of everyone and continues to put me through abuse me to the point that I do not leave my room. Help me reach an environment that cares for me without threatening my living situation.
