I’m a public school nurse, and every day I have the privilege of caring for the students in our community. My health office is often the first stop for a child who isn’t feeling well, has been injured, or simply needs a safe space to rest.

Right now, my office cot — the place where students lie down when they’re sick or recovering — is worn out and no longer provides the comfort or support they deserve. For many of my students, this cot is the closest thing they have to a bed during the school day when they aren’t feeling well.

I’m raising funds to purchase a new, sturdy, and comfortable cot that will help me provide the best care possible. Even a small donation makes a difference and goes directly toward helping students feel safe, supported, and cared for when they need it most.
