My name is Rob, my wife and I have been rescuing homeless and mistreated companion animals for over 15 years. We live in a small rural community which has had its fair share of community issues and tragedy. In 2020 devastating Fires, ripped through the town and surrounding areas, demolishing many homes in its path. Due to this many dogs and other animals were displaced needing a safe haven which we provided while their owners came to grips with the reality of it all. Then COVID hit our shores with restrictions placed upon our communities. Many needy dogs were able to find their "forever homes", with owners having time to spend with them until the recent financial crises causing many people to lose their homes, having to give up their beloved animals for their families to survive. Unfortunately, this has caused Rescue groups / Council Pounds and other animal organisations to become overcrowded and overwhelmed. My wife and I would like to provide a safe haven on our farm for some of these animals with the help of donors to build a secure building to help protect, nurture and rehome these beautiful souls.
