A Safe Place for Leo
Donation protected
Meet Leo, a year 8 old young boy with severe autism. Leo struggles on a daily basis with self injurious behaviors, epilepsy, sensitivity to all sensory stimulation and difficulty with communicating (non-verbal) which has resulted in him no longer being able to attend school. To keep Leo safe, cupboards and cabinets have to remain locked at all times, Leo must be under direct supervision 24 hours a day and he must wear a helmet so he doesn't hurt himself when he bangs his head. This is incredibly overwhelming at best and at times it feels impossible. However, we believe that Leo deserves the best life we can offer and are confident in God's sovereignty and He does have a plan for Leo as well as his younger brother Devin. Leo needs proper locks on the cabinets, padding on the walls, and stimulating educational and sensory equipment to keep him safe and provide an enriching environment . As well, teaching him to communicate is the most basic life need that every person should have access to. Please help to Support Rachel and Robert to provide Leo the safety and support that he deserves. Let's rally around this amazing family and show them the Love of God by giving and praying.
