Hello, my name is Nick, to many of you I am strangers, to some, friends, family or something else. I recently learned one of my friends who I have loved near and dear to my heart was kicked out of her living space with her parents, because of trauma and a fear of retaliation, she is 16, think back to what you were doing at 16, I have been fortunate to not have experienced homelessness myself but I am scared for her, and I am sure she is terrified, I want to help her and I want to ensure she is never in this situation again. I won't share her whole story because it is not mine to tell but surely we can all agree every child deserves to have a home.
