I was kicked out of an unstable house when I was sixteen, illegally withheld from school material until I nearly failed sophomore year, and one year to the day later kicked out again from my new home because they "couldn't afford the drama" when I was gRaped by a violent partner. I lost my job because I struggled to balance mental illness and school with it, and housing is unstable.

I recently lost my SNAP even though it's the only food source I have currently (I am no longer permitted school lunch) due to two missing documents I was never informed I needed until after the deadline.

I am being mistreated and having my rights violated in my current residence, once having to spend hours out in the cold due to a fight.

I just need to get myself an apartment, a job close by, and afford food and bills. I have tried every other route, applied to numerous jobs

I begged my family to help, but no one will take me in. I am now eighteen, and schoolwork is nearly impossible to focus on when I worry where I'll sleep, if I'm safe, avoiding disagreements, how I'll get food, if I'll hear back from an application, if I'll anger someone I know out of helping, and somehow find a way to manage my mental disabilities.

I have put my health and mental illnesses on the back burner because I can't get to it when more important issues arise.

I need a car to get to further out jobs to have my best chance at getting hired, as Ive been ghosted by so many nearby.

I am begging for any spare change you may have, just to eat and get job interview clothes and a stable place to live.

I aim to someday be a writer and therapist, to educate people on the effects of trauma through my poems and help those hurt by this world through healthcare.

I don't believe anyone should have to put their health on the backburner, especially when it poses risk to themselves.

Someday, I will be paying it forward.
