Seeking Safety and a Fresh Start in East County

To my neighbors and community,

My name is Victoria, and I am currently struggling to survive in the Troutdale/Gresham area. I am homeless, alone, and the freezing temperatures have made it impossible to keep going without help.

I recently suffered a devastating loss. My ex-boyfriend poisoned my dog—my only family and my best friend. I am lost without my companion, and being on the streets while grieving this loss has been a nightmare I can’t wake up from.

I am trying to raise $1,100 to get into a safe, stable environment. This money will go toward:

Securing a deposit or temporary lodging to get me off the streets and away from my abuser.

Cold-weather gear and basic food/hygiene supplies.

Transportation to reach the local resources and appointments I need to rebuild my life.
