A Safe Haven for Children after Earthquake

Değerli Destekçilerimiz, 

Sizleri, Türkiye'de deprem bölgesini desteklemek için özel bir katkıda bulunmaya davet ediyoruz.  Hatay Deprem Dayanışma Derneği ve Maya Derneği ile ortaklaşa surdurulen bu proje, yakında Hatay'da Çocuk ve Gençlik Dostu bir Alan yaratmak üzere hayata geçirilecek.   Bu sayfa üzerinden 7 Haziran’a kadar sizlerin desteklerini toplayacağız.  Desteginiz çok önemli bir fark yaratacak.   

Bu proje, Hatay'daki bir parkı, bölgedeki depremlerden ciddi şekilde etkilenen çocuk ve gençler için güvenli bir alan haline getirmeyi hedefliyor. Misyonumuz, Hatay'ın çocuk ve gençlerine sanat, oyun ve hareket yoluyla hak temelli psikososyal destek aktiviteleri sunmak.  Crowdfunding ile finanse ettiğimiz bu konteyner, çocuk merkezli bu alanın çok önemli bir parçası olacak. Bu alanın içinde bir kütüphane, sanat temelli bir aktivite alanı, bir çalışma odası ve birebir görüşmeler için bir psikososyal destek masası bulunacak.  Anadolu Kültür ise yerel, ulusal ve uluslararası kuruluşlar ve uzmanlarla işbirliği içinde, Acil Durumlar ve Afetlerde Çocuk Güvenliği, Koruma ve İyi Oluşunu güçlendirmeyi hedefleyen bir sanat ve oyun temelli aktivite programı oluşturmak üzere destek verecek. Bu güvenli alana katılan çocuklar ve gençler şu konularda destek alacak: 
 • Formal ve informal eğitime erişim
   • Zor deneyimlerini ve duygularını ifade etmek için sanat temelli psikososyal destek 
  • Akranlarıyla sosyalleşme fırsatları
 • Bireysel ve grup olarak iyi oluş, özen ve bakım odaklı etkinlikler

  İlgilenenler için, projemizde tam şeffaflık ve hesap verebilirlik sağlıyoruz. İşbirliği yapan yerel kuruluşlar, proje süresinin sonunda fotoğraflar ve kısa bir rapor paylaşarak güncellemeler sağlayacak. Nezaketiniz ve bu anlamlı çabada bizimle yan yana durduğunuz için teşekkür ederiz.

Hatay Deprem Dayanışma Derneği and Maya Derneği is about to bring an invaluable resource to life - a Child and Youth Friendly Space in Hatay, Turkey. This project is focused on creating a haven within a park in Hatay, which will be redesigned to become a safe space for children and youth severely affected by earthquakes in the region. Our mission is to implement right-based psychosocial support activities through arts, games, and movement for the children and youth of Hatay. The container that we are crowdfunding for is a crucial component of this child-centered space. It will house a library, an art-based activity area, a study room, and a one-to-one psychosocial support desk. Anadolu Kültür, in collaboration with local, national, and international expert organizations and specialists, will create an arts and game-based activity program aimed at Child Safety, Protection, and Wellbeing in emergency settings. The children and youth participating in this safe space will receive: • Access to both formal and non-formal education • Arts-based psychosocial support to express their difficult experiences and emotions • Opportunities to socialize with their peers • Individual and group wellbeing and care

For those interested, we assure full transparency and accountability in our project. The collaborating local organizations will provide updates, including pictures and a brief report, at the end of the project period.
