I have been helping cats since 2013. I have had to move from place to place to keep them safe and sheltered. I have rescued several feral colonies, helped numerous caregivers, and taken in several owner surrenders just to name a few of the situations.

I am currently housing the remaining 34 cats in portable buildings and catios made out of walk in kennel panels at a farm where I rent a small space. While this property is very much appreciated, space is limited due to the owner's current operations and requests. This limits me in what I need to do in order to operate efficiently.

I do have the option to rent the whole farm for $2000 a month instead of the small portion I rent now, but I am not in a financial position to do that out of pocket. It would be more practical to use $2000 month paying for a property I can own for the cats. I am open to buying a distressed commercial property, acres or a homestead to accomplish this goal.

Either option will work right now. I can use the funds to lease the whole farm so we can install larger fenced in areas for the cats or a down payment on my own property. I just want something secured by either paying several months farm rent ahead or a down payment on my own property.

While I am creative about working with what I have, these cats deserve more. I would love to be able to offer larger free roaming areas and more enrichment for them while they wait for their forever person to find them or they live out their life with the sanctuary.
