Funeral Fund - Liz Carter now a carer in Heaven

This is something I never thought I would have to write and I am asking for peoples understanding and support in these vey difficult and trying times.
It is with sadness that we announce the sad passing of Elizabeth (Liz) Carter on 26th Jan 2021.
I would like to give you some insight into Liz. She was a warm, loving, caring individual who has touched the lives of so many people in her life, improving their quality of life and treating people with respect regardless of their needs.
She was a loving, warm and wonderful wife to Nick and a fantastic mum to their three amazing daughters. Liz had spent her life caring for others either in the community or in nursing homes in East Sussex and finally in Bolton. Her husband Nick has continued to work through the Covid Pandemic as an essential worker. Through tough times they have battled on, never asking for help, but concentrating their focus on supporting others.
Late in 2019 money was really tight for Nick and Liz , never expecting it might be her time to leave us, Liz, cancelled the life insurance and funeral plan to divert the pennies elsewhere. Probably with the intention of making new arrangements when things got better financially. Sadly Liz passed away with no warning.
As you can imagine her families world is upside down at not only losing a wife and mother, but also finding their world in complete disarray. To add to this grief it has now been discovered that there are no funds to lay Liz to rest in peace with the dignity she deserves.
As I said at the beginning I have never had to write something like this. We know that life is very challenging at present however we are asking people that either knew Liz, through family, work or friendship or has been touched by this message to please help Nick and his family though this very dark time.
Nick and Liz never asked for help for anything, but with his consent I will ask now on his behalf. Please in Memory or Liz, could you if you are able make a donation, no matter how small, every penny will gratefully received.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, family members and friends will not have the chance to say their goodbyes to this wonderful lady. Helping Nick and his family
to get through this would be a great tribute to a lady for whom nothing was ever too much trouble.
