A ROOM FOR RAMONA

Ramona was found on the service road of Interstate 20 in Weatherford, Texas. It was 98 degrees and she'd been there in the sun all day.

She is 72 years old and in a wheelchair. She always has her dog, "Little Sister," at her side.

We took her to a nearby motel and got her a room and a meal. That was over 14 days ago. Adult Protective Services is working to get her some type of identification so they can see about Social Security benefits. It is a maze to get through all the bureaucracy to get her the help she needs.

We are seeking donations to keep the motel for a few more weeks. Anything you can give will go toward keeping her fed and secure in a room, off the streets until we can find a permanent home.

Ramona is a joy to be around and loves God.

Should we be able to help Ramona sooner, the remaining funds will be donated to Hearts Full of Love, Weatherford, to help other homeless people.

Thank you from Sarah, Sandra, Tina, Donna, and Ramona.
