BRYANT PEREZ (THE FLASH)

Bryant is a bright 8 year old, who was born with a congenital condition called muscular dystrophy (LAMA 2).
Bryant is unable to walk or stand by himself, but when he is on his wheelchairs he likes to be called "The Flash".
Our little family makes sure Bryant has everything he needs inside the house, but due to his condition it's difficult to have activities outside of the house, as you may not know the world outside is not so accessible.
We live in Stamford, CT and is not so accessible when it comes to transportation. For example: Before we lived in New Haven, CT where they have public taxi that are handicap accessible, we once went to NYC with Bryant's wheelchair because we knew we could afford the taxi from the train station to the house.

Now that we live in Stamford we have no reliable transportation that's wheelchair accessible, we can only go to doctor's appointments, and school because the transportation is provided.
We moved to Stamford due to the school system for Bryant, in New Haven he simply was not happy in school, he did not want to go to school, and as his mom I knew that was not typical for my flash, now in Stamford he is thriving in school, learning so much everyday and loving it, when he has to miss school to go to his doctors appointments he cries, because he does not want to miss school.
Having an accessible car would mean Bryant can finally go see so many of the things he loves, we can drive to the bronx zoo like he wants to go so bad, and we could go to the aquarium so he could see the sharks. Bryant in his wheelchair is a typical eight year old, who wants to run and go places, he wants to go visit his friends, now when he gets invited to birthday parties we have to say no, because we have no way of bringing the wheelchair, and without it he has to be placed in one place and not move or interact the way he wants to, but if we get a van he can go and play with his friends just like the rest of the team.
Bryant is not shy and is really good at speaking his mind and making friends, he makes friends everywhere, once we have the van I know Bryant will truly be "The Flash" of our lives.

We are asking you for help to get this ride for Bryant, so he can access the world.
We cannot do this without help as it is very expensive, but we have found an excellent opportunity, and we are asking for your help with whatever you can, we truly appreciate it !!
