Help a rescue frenchie and his mom!

Hi, my name is Sarah, I am a licensed veterinary technician working in the ICU, and I am raising funds for my dear coworker Martine and her rescue pup! Lorenzo is a 2 year old French bulldog who had a rough start at life. After being diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy (seizures from an unknown source), his former owners chose to relinquish him to the veterinary hospital we both work at. My coworker has been looking for a French bulldog, and he could not have come into better hands! Unfortunately, French bulldogs suffer from brachycephalic airway obstruction syndrome: a very common syndrome that involves the nose, the mouth, and often the larynx. Lorenzo went into surgery to correct this, and post operatively, was fighting for his life. Following post-op complications, Lorenzo went into respiratory arrest and died in hospital. He was brought back with CPR, and since then, it has been an uphill battle to get him well again. With the fight to get him back into his mom’s arms, she has incurred enormous medical bills. Martine is a wonderful person who has helped us grow as techs, and who has gone through some serious life trials; Lorenzo helped her as much as she helped him, and now we are here to help them both! Lorenzo has a long road of recovery ahead of him, and to help alleviate Martine’s worry and stress regarding him, I am asking for donations on her behalf. The money collected will go toward paying down Lorenzo’s medical bills, and any remaining money will be donated to a charity of Martine’s choice.
