A Rental Van for the Man

Hello all,

My name is Chris Eftychiou, and I am a good friend and colleague to Jason Rueda. I was told by Go Fund Me to identify myself, so, there you go!!!!

So, some of you may remember, our amazing community came together to support Jason Rueda as a huge surprise back in early 2020! On March 13th, 2020, as the world shut down, some of our gifted Jason an amazing donation of nearly $50,000 for a new handicapped-accessible van. One year later, he got his amazing, BLUE PACIFICA..LOADED and amazing. It WAS, note the word WAS, an amazing car and frankly, a dream come true for Jason.

Hurricane Ida had a different plan. (She was such a jerk!) Not only did the river come up and damage his home, leading to him being displaced from his accessible room, but it also forced water UP into his vehicle, destroying it. The insurance company has already taken it away and it has been a very emotional month. (Tid bit, it destroyed his dad's car too!)

Here is the plan. With Jason's blessing, I am fundraising to get Jason a RENTAL VAN that a team of local friends will drive to get Jason out of the house coaching again, to doctors appointments, to the grocery store, etc. The cost is VERY expensive for this, upwards of $3,000 per month. Jason is NOT slated to get a new van until at least February or March of this year.

Please donate what you can. I will be helping with the logistics of the rental with Jason directly. We hope to start the rental maybe next week if we can get it locked down.

This money is being slated for transportation for Jason! Thanks so much.
