Hi, my name is Jason and I'm a single father of an amazing young boy. The car I use daily has had some serious and costly issues and I'm not able to manage the repairs on my own. It is both my personal vehicle and the vehicle we rely on for income, but it's become increasingly difficult to make money because a large portion of my income goes into the car.

I recently tried to apply for a loan and was denied due to poor credit and my credit history. I can't do my job without a car, and the car I have is unreliable so I've been stuck in this cycle, unable to get ahead.

I work as a delivery driver, delivering groceries and other goods to my community and the surrounding towns, so I cannot get by without a car. A reliable car would change everything and give me a chance to turn everything around, but nobody will take a chance on someone with the credit history I have.

I'm not looking for a *new* car, just something I can rely on. My current car, a 2007 vw, leaks antifreeze, overheats, the transmission is failing, and the body is rusting pretty severely in spots. I travel long distances for work and I frequently fear that the car will break down, leaving me stranded.

On another note, my son (13) is teased and ridiculed for being seen in my car and will ask his grandparents for rides before he asks me. It breaks my heart knowing he's being affected this way by the car I drive
