My name is Amari Gilkey, and I proudly serve as the 96th Miss Kentucky State University. I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to attend the HBCU Kings & Queens Conference — a national leadership conference that brings together campus royalty from Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the country.
This conference is all about growth. It offers workshops on leadership, service, branding, etiquette, and more — all designed to empower student leaders like myself to make a greater impact on our campuses and communities.
In order to attend, I’m asking for your support to help cover the cost of travel, hotel, and conference registration. Your donation, no matter how small, will help me represent KSU with pride, professionalism, and purpose on a national stage.
I’m committed to using everything I gain from this experience to pour right back into my university and continue leading with excellence.
Thank you for supporting me and believing in the legacy of HBCU leadership!
With gratitude,
Amari Gilkey
