Hi everyone,
It’s with a heavy heart that we’re reaching out to ask for your support for my beloved 1½-year-old Doberman, Rueger. My sweet, goofy, social butterfly has always been the life of the dog park — chasing tennis balls with reckless joy, splashing in water bowls, and making instant friends with every pup and person she meets.
Rueger lives for the outdoors. She’s happiest when she’s running free, ears flopping, tail wagging, soaking up the sunshine. But in a heartbreaking turn of events, Rueger recently suffered a severe hip injury that now requires emergency surgery—a procedure that wasn’t planned for, and has come with an overwhelming financial burden.
This hasn’t been easy to ask, especially knowing so many people are facing their own financial challenges and hardships right now. But we’re turning to our friends, family, and kind strangers because Rueger deserves a chance to heal, to chase squirrels again, to play with her best four-legged buddies, and to simply be the joyful spirit she’s always been.
The cost of Rueger’s surgery, post-op care, and physical therapy is more than we can manage alone. Every single dollar helps — whether it’s $5, $10, or more — and we are so incredibly grateful for anything you can give. Even just sharing her story means the world to us.
Thank you for reading, thank you for caring, and thank you for helping give Rueger the chance to run wild and free again. She’s not just a pet — she’s family.
With love and gratitude,
Daria, Rueger and Monroe
